Japanese Antique 24K Gold and Silver Inlay Cigarette Case in the Damascene style from late Taisho to early Showa era. c.1920's - 1940's. Case is unsigned but in very good used condition and has cigarette keep band inside and the number 22 at the bottom left which was model number.Case opens by gently moving front and back in opposite direction to releases catch.Beautiful design on front of Mt.Fuji with silver on top and a typical village scene as shown with gold inlayings of trees, houses and temple overlooking silver bridge, hills & water.Very beautiful.
